SUMMARY:

The Sales and Marketing manager is responsible for generating new sales leads by developing new clients and maintaining relationships with existing customers. This person will also orchestrate Rose’s marketing strategy so that the Rose Medical brand is well known and respected.

TRAVEL:

This individual is expected to regularly spend time in key account territories visiting customers. Average amount of time away from home is approximately one week per month.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:SALES

Market research to identify new companies or projects that would be a strong fit for Rose capabilities.Coordinate with inside sales and engineering to deliver quotations to customers that are accurate and timely.Advising Rose business team on pricing strategies for new and existing projects to ensure that the business is cost competitive while also maximizing Rose profits.Regular visits to key territories to visit with new and existing customers. Key territories are assigned by supervisor.Create and maintain accurate records and sales reports.MARKETING

Coordinate with management team to determine key aspects of Rose Medical brand and how the company should be known within the industry.Effectively deploy marketing strategies that are cost effective with lasting impact.Keep all marketing materials up to date with latest technologies and company information.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with manager and inside sales to develop an annual sales and marketing plan that outlines anticipated sales trips, trade shows, and marketing efforts (website updates, press releases, brochures). This plan should include a proposed budget for sales and marketing for the upcoming year.Develop metrics to evaluate sales and marketing tools and report results to management.Evaluate the need for new sales and marketing tools (software, tracking, analytics) and coordinate with manager and inside sales to develop efficient and accurate systems.Since this position does not play a role in the manufacturing process itself, normal Quality System Procedure (QSP) training is not required.Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Prefer 10+ years experience in sales, marketing and/or engineeringA desire to use your skills to have a widespread impact on people and society at a mission-driven company.Well organized in order to track moving pieces on all open quotes.Strong communication skills to collaborate between all external and internal groups.Excellent customer service skillsImpeccable interpersonal communication skillsWell-developed business skillsOutstanding negotiation skillsAbility to mentor and delegate tasks to the sales teamMechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical requirements.Positive and friendly attitude; able to work well in cross-functional team.
