THE WORK
As a Leader, you will work closely with the Senior Manager to provide strategic support and advice. Your responsibilities will include:• Building strong interactions to foster collaboration across business areas (BAs) and driving the 1LMX culture forward.• Acting as a liaison between the Senior Manager and direct report leadership in the execution of new processes and procedures.• Managing the execution of new processes and procedures.• Establishing mechanisms for tracking progress towards the vision and goals, regularly reviewing performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recognizing achievements.• Addressing budget issues at the controllable level to find solutions and working closely with Project Managers (PMs) to address concerns about organizational workflow.• Keeping the vision alive by sharing success stories, recognizing contributions, and reinforcing the importance of the 1LMX vision.• Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging experimentation, risk-taking, and learning from both successes and failures.• Leading Talent Development discussions for leaders and high-potential employees, and being involved in long-term succession planning and preparations for leadership transitions within the organization.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $96,700 - $185,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
