THE WORK

As a Leader, you will work closely with the Senior Manager to provide strategic support and advice. Your responsibilities will include:• Building strong interactions to foster collaboration across business areas (BAs) and driving the 1LMX culture forward.• Acting as a liaison between the Senior Manager and direct report leadership in the execution of new processes and procedures.• Managing the execution of new processes and procedures.• Establishing mechanisms for tracking progress towards the vision and goals, regularly reviewing performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recognizing achievements.• Addressing budget issues at the controllable level to find solutions and working closely with Project Managers (PMs) to address concerns about organizational workflow.• Keeping the vision alive by sharing success stories, recognizing contributions, and reinforcing the importance of the 1LMX vision.• Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging experimentation, risk-taking, and learning from both successes and failures.• Leading Talent Development discussions for leaders and high-potential employees, and being involved in long-term succession planning and preparations for leadership transitions within the organization.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, make a significant impact on the organization’s strategic direction, and contribute to the development of future leaders.Basic Qualifications:• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a managerial role, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing creative projects.• Demonstrated experience in leading creative teams is preferred.• Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities with experience in motivating and guiding teams to achieve organizational goals.• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, and to manage creative resources effectively.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across BAs.• Proficient in preparing and delivering presentations, and in facilitating productive meetings.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.• Experience in resolving conflicts and managing complex issues within a team or project environment.• Experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools as required.• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and other stakeholders across BAs• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a dynamic environment.• Flexibility to adjust strategies and approaches as necessary to achieve objectives.Desired Skills:• Extensive Experience collaborating across the enterpriseSolid writing, speaking and general communication skills.• Strong understanding in the management of Creative Teams and digital asset management tools• Executive presence and interpersonal skills.• Working knowledge of the defense industryClearance Level:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $96,700 - $185,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered:

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $111,200 - $209,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:
