As our

Sales & Marketing Coordinator , you would be responsible for:

Assisting the General Manager, Director of Sales and Sales/Catering Managers with administrative tasks.

Promptly answering telephone calls following Hyatt standards using clear and positive English communication.

Providing smooth transition for new business leads to the appropriate Sales team member.

Communicating information accurately to managers and disseminate information and facts to relevant accounts and concerned departments.

Typing correspondence, proposals and contracts as directed by management using computers and email.

Assisting sales team with sales blitzes, client holiday planning, ordering of client swag, and coordination of volunteer efforts.

Assisting sales team with prospecting efforts to increase new business opportunities.

Handling sales process and event detailing for short-term bookings.

Distribution of memos, room requests and amenities to relevant departments throughout the hotel.

Guest Recognition program daily letters.

Ordering of all offices supplies and paper products.

Conducting hotel site tours

Copy and faxing necessary documentation for clients and hotel use.

Processing incoming and outgoing mail for department.

Maintaining filing system. Log pertinent account information in files.

Making recommendations to his/her supervisor regarding improved methods and procedures to have a positive impact on guest/associate satisfaction.

Attending all required department and other hotel meetings.

Full knowledge and participation in the hotel's Fire, Safety, Security, and Environmental plan and/or committees.

Ensuring appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, and appearance are maintained.

Designing and schedule organic social media posts.

Managing social media events and boosting.

Posting internal events to local event boards.

Handling Watermill Kitchen & Bar event postings (social, event boards, and WMK.com)

Canva design for flyers and Adobe Design updates as needed.

Managing internal process for handling gift certificate requests and vouchers

Leading the on-site contact for monthly CTW photoshoots.

Creating hotel activations with local partners as desired.

Managing Eventbrite ticket sales process for Watermill Kitchen & Bar, and other community events hosted by hotel.

Managing simple email marketing campaigns.

Listing updates as needed (Yelp, Yext, etc.)

We are looking for our next amazing property leader,

who will:

Be flexible with a positive attitude.

Have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and possess the ability to learn new computer programs quickly.

Be highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented.

Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems.

Possess good English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain strong customer relationships.

Have a High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.

Compensation: Salary, Non-Exempt position, starting at $20/hour.

For each position, we require a stable work history verified by a background check, a positive attitude, a willingness to be a team player, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.
