Sr. CAD Designer

What We’re Looking For:We are in search of a Civil CAD Designer with expertise in Land Planning. This role goes beyond typical CAD Design/Civil Engineering positions. If you have practical experience in designing and drafting plans for land development in both residential and commercial projects, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Create and produce plan sets for residential and commercial land development projects.Implement and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards.Collaborate closely with our engineering and planning teams to develop innovative site solutions.Qualifications:Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required, including proficiency with Hydraflow Storm Sewers Extension and Hydraflow Hydrology Analysis software, focusing on creating and using storm and sanitary sewer networks and profiles.Experience in land development design and permitting processes, primarily for multi-family and residential projects, with some commercial emphasis.Experience in creating 2D plan sets for municipal review, incorporating local ordinances and regulations into the design.Experience in creating Civil 3D models and surfaces, including volume surfaces and performing earthwork analysis. Experience with feature lines and building models using feature lines and/or corridors is a plus.Familiarity with AutoCAD standards, CAD file/data management, and storage procedures.Proficiency with Office 365 applications, particularly in working with and modifying Excel worksheets.A keen interest in learning new and more efficient ways to utilize software to streamline workflow and solve problems.Bonus points for experience in roadway design, including stationing and labeling standards.Our Work Environment Offers:Competitive salary with growth opportunitiesCasual dress codeComprehensive onboarding and ongoing supportA collaborative and supportive team atmosphere
