About Us:Leighanne LaMarre Interiors is a high-end residential interior design firm specializing in new construction and large-scale renovation projects. We are looking to add a fun-loving, enthusiastic, and talented Interior Designer to our quickly growing team!

JOB DESCRIPTIONThis role will collaborate closely with the Principal, design team members, and Project Manager to assist in the execution of small- to large-scale luxury residential design projects from initial construction to installation of interiors.Salary: $50-70k, depending on level of experiencePurpose: To work alongside design team to ensure all efforts involved with design projects are efficiently executed, undertaking whatever work is required to contribute to the design of beautiful homes and well-nurtured client and vendor relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree in Interior Design is required.Minimum of 2 years of experience working for a Residential Interior Design FirmStrong communication, organization and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong Knowledge and Skills of AutoCAD and/or Chief Architect.Excellent Working Knowledge of Pages or MS Word.Extreme attention to detail and the ability to take direction.Must be organized, efficient, and enjoy working with a team as well as working independently.Team player with a positive can-do attitude.Sense of humor and desire to work in supportive, collaborative fashion.Must have access to a reliable car, valid driver’s license, and insurance. Mileage will be reimbursed.Must be able to lift 35lbs comfortably

Daily Tasks Include:-Communicate and Coordinate with Construction Team and support Project Manager on all facets of design intent.-Curate Material Selections, such as furnishings, fabrics, finishes, paint colors, accessories, and all other materials.-Oversee production of floor plan and elevation drawings.-Obtain sales quotes and pricing estimates, and ensure accuracy for project quoting purposes.-Prepare and produce presentation documents and price sheets.-Enter and send all orders to vendor partners, and communicate with in-house expediting manager on all logistics for current projects to ensure deadlines are met.-Provide general design support for completion and execution of design projects and presentations, and-Record meeting notes and ensure that all action items have been recorded, assigned, and completed to ensure all client commitments and discussions have been fulfilled.-Maintain all project details including but not limited to furniture and lighting plans, paint schedules, wall covering and fabric specifications, tile and stone layouts, millwork details, etc.-Attend site meetings with clients, vendors, and construction teams as needed.-Attend and direct delivery team members during client installations, as well as prepare, deliver and place all final touches and accessory selections.
