General Assignment Reporter

The Branson Tri-Lakes News is seeking a general assignment reporter to join our award-winning news team, who are dedicated to providing our readers with accurate and in-depth local news, sports and entertainment.The ideal candidate should have proficiency in writing and photography. A working knowledge of social media platforms, InDesign and Photoshop are a plus. They must be able to meet deadlines on multiple projects each week and be motivated to develop sources and connections within the community.Candidates must also be a self-starter, excited to learn new things and enthusiastic about being a team player. This position requires a combination of in-office responsibilities as well as attending a wide variety of meetings, events, sports, ceremonies, etc. throughout the community as part of their assigned beat.Interested applicants can email a resume to
