Company DescriptionCPK Studios operates two Club Pilates boutique fitness studios in Essex and Union County NJ offering 12-person reformer Pilates classes as well as private instruction.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager at Club Pilates Livingston in Livingston, NJ. The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the studio, and plan and coordinate events for grassroots outreach. The General manager is primarily responsible for member retention and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications3+ Years proven experience in managing a fitness studio or similar facilityDemonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a teamGoal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher trainingExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesPassion for health, fitness, and providing exceptional customer serviceSales experienceCertification in fitness, sports management, or related field is a plus
ResponsibilitiesSupervise front-desk associates on day-to-day tasksTraining all new front-desk associates on all studio operations in collaboration with Sales TeamExecute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and closeMaintain acceptable level of personal sales productionEmphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness providerPresent available services to current or prospective membersBook quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotaParticipate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the clubOrganize grassroots outreach events with the goal of generating leads for the sales teamOrganize member retention events in order to foster a community atmosphere within the studioExecution of membership changes including cancellations, freezes, etc.Comprehension and enforcement of studio policies and proceduresBasic equipment maintenanceOther duties as assigned
