Who we are looking for:Our UX team plays a pivotal role in creating memorable, engaging experiences for our clients. We are seeking a UX Designer to join our team of highly skilled, multi-disciplinary experts to drive creative solutions across a range of innovative projects.

The

User Experience Designer

is responsible for envisioning, ensuring and improving the quality of user experience for products, services and campaigns throughout their design and development. A successful UX Designer is an innovator, collaborator, problem solver, product owner and thought leader for GS&F and client partners. Acting as an advocate for the user, the UX Designer works with the creative and development teams to create resonant and intuitive experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in comprehensive user research and competitive analysis to uncover user needs and identify design opportunities, ensuring strategies align with business objectives and enhance customer interactions.Participate in presenting UX research and insights to project stakeholders, applying research insights into actionable, cutting-edge design solutions.Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices across the organization, influencing product development and promoting a culture of innovation.Participate in UX initiatives, acting as a client lead for projects from discovery to implementation, aiming for ongoing optimization of user experiences.Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements, integrating relevant innovations into UX strategies to maintain a competitive edge.Actively participate in workshops and collaborative sessions with internal teams, clients, and users to gather insights and refine project approaches.Participate in conducting in-depth user research employing various methodologies like ethnography and usability testing to gather actionable insights.Collaborate closely with design, development, interactive, creative, and account teams to deliver cohesive and user-friendly digital and traditional experiences.

You’ll likely need the following qualifications and experience to be successful in this role:

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related field.We believe that years of experience is just a number; that said, typically someone in this role has 3-5 years of experience in UX design and strategy, with a proven track record of leading successful UX projects.Familiarity with lean design principles and the insight-to-MVP product lifecycle.Familiarity with human-centered principles, practices, and methods.Familiarity with user interface design best practices, including mobile platform-specific design patterns.Ability to discuss technical constraints with development teams.Familiar with wireframing and prototype tools (for example, Figma)

Location:We are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to Nashville in the near future (first 90 days of employment).
