PRESENTATION/PUBLISHING SPECIALIST
for a financial service company.
The Publishing Specialist is vital for ensuring the professional quality of print, PDF, and presentation materials. Using PowerPoint and the Seismic platform, they meticulously update data, formatting, layout, design, and content. Additionally, you will create and update charts, graphs, templates, and exhibits for various communication materials, such as websites and presentations.
This is a full-time, 4-6 month contract that is hybrid onsite in Los Angeles, CA.The application deadline for this opportunity is Friday, 8/23/24.
Presentation/Publishing Specialist Responsibilities:Update data, formatting, layout, design, and content for print, PDF, and presentation materials using established templates in PowerPoint via the Seismic platform.Create and update charts, graphs, templates, and exhibits for communication materials, websites, and presentations.Prepare presentation and notes files for meetings and webcasts.Customize materials based on client needs while adhering to brand, style, and data presentation guidelines.Presentation/Publishing Specialist Requirements:1-3 years of experience working in a creative corporate environment.Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (advanced)
and Microsoft Excel (intermediate, with critical charting skills).Strong attention to detail, process orientation, and organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines effectively.Ability to problem solve and manage ambiguity.Analytical thinking skills to spot trends and variances in data, working with large volumes of data from multiple sources.Collaborate with diverse working styles and team members across business units.Initiative to work and learn independently, proactively contribute to department goals, and lead others while maintaining effective business relationships.Ability to learn new applications as needed.Familiarity with financial concepts and the investment industry, with experience in another highly regulated industry (pharma, legal) as a plus.
