Contiem is seeking a contract Technical Writer to update and deliver updated documentation through client projects. This is a client-facing role requiring consulting and subject-matter expertise, underpinned by a strong delivery track record. This is a temporary, two-month contract role with an

on-site

requirement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Participate as a client-facing member of a project team.Act as lead writer on documentation projects either as a lone writer or as a part of a team.Gather information from source files and subject matter expert (SME) interviews.Ensure documents are accurate and follow best practices for writing technical documentation.Develop new documents and update existing documents as required.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications :U.S. citizenship.Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, journalism, communications, or related field.5+ years’ experience in technical writing, with technical writing being your primary job function.Experience with IOMs for industrial, manufacturing, or consumer products.Experience with researching and gathering relevant technical data from subject matter experts such as engineers, developers, and programmers, as well as from internal documents.Possess excellent interpersonal and general business communication skills.Experience working independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Demonstrated success working in an environment driven by budget, scope, and deadlines across multiple clients/projects.
