Our Boston based CPG client is looking for a Copyeditor with 2+ years' experience for an immediate long term contract.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with other members of the Copy team to review: manuals, packaging, displays, emails, social posts, and banner ads for spelling, grammar, consistency, clarity, style, and brand voiceEdit and proofread written content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.Work across multiple creative teams to ensure copy is clear and accurateStay updated on industry trends, best practices, and evolving editing techniques.Offer copy suggestions when necessary
Qualifications
3+ years of related work experience—internal or external agency experience preferred--specifically experience proofing, editing and a strong grasp of grammer is a must for this roleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrevious experience in the CPG/retail space is a plusAny bilingual skills (French Canadian, Brazilian Portuguese, or a dialect of LATAM Spanish) would be a bonus
