High level of proficiency in developing wiring, diagnostic and technical writing projects in multiple authoring environments based on the level of equity assigned.Participates in meetings with clients and co-workers.Develops technical information using client supplied resources, such subject matter experts, product teardowns and engineering schematics.Advises Operations and Sales Support Manager of project status and potential issues.Completes various additional assignments as directed by client and or customer.Work directly with customer contacts to guide them through problem resolution.Misc. tasks and associated responsibilities as requested.
QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED required with an associate degree in automotive technologies or equivalent is preferred.Minimum of 12 months of experience working with an automotive OEM department servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehiclesMust have knowledge of automotive parts.ASE certifications preferred.Ability to describe mechanical data.Ability to describe modern automotive systems.Ability to prioritize workload and meet due dates in addition to handling multiple tasks while changing priorities.Intermediate personal computer proficiency - able to use Windows Explorer, MS Office Suite, and the InternetAbility to work independently.Ability to work as a team member towards common goals.Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to troubleshoot while leveraging various resources including but not limited to knowledge gained, team members and overall problem-solving abilities to provide solutions.Ability to research information, interpret it and use it to problem solve.Knowledge of most conventional automotive techniques including equipment, terminology, and automotive technologyMust be detailed oriented, and methodical with follow up.
PREFERREDExperience with Toyota automotive parts and Toyota processes.Experience with communicating with various departments within Toyota.Proficiency with Software Applications such as PRS and TQNETWriting experience.
