RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated college
Set Design & CNC
intern who is studying set design, parametric architecture, 3-D modeling, industrial design, or CNC machining. This internship is ideal for students looking to apply their technical expertise in field and set design, window displays, and pop-up shop design.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design and development of parametric models for field and set design, window displays, and pop-up shop installations.Collaborate with the design team to create 3-D models and visualizations.Support the fabrication process by preparing CAD files for CNC machining and other digital fabrication methods.Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in production.Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for design and customer activations.Help maintain and organize digital design files and documentation.Assist in the preparation of presentations and design proposals.Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and optimized for production.Contribute to the design and creation of storefront windows and other customer activations, enhancing the visual and experiential aspects of our brand.
QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Design, Architecture,Set Design , Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related field.Experience with 3-D modeling software like Rhino, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Blender.Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and principles of digital fabrication.Basic understanding of CNC machining and other digital fabrication methods.Strong design and visualization skills, with the ability to create detailed and accurate models.Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in industrial design.
