While we thrive in complex, controversial, and politically challenging situations, we provide public involvement and community outreach services for all types of projects and initiatives. Currently, Rifeline works heavily on various transportation projects. Some of our current clients include the Texas Department of Transportation (Mobility35), Williamson County (Transportation Corridor Development), and Central Health (Health Equity Policy Council and Community Health Champions).

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

The Designer & Production Manager is a full-time position that involves working closely with project managers and team members to coordinate, manage, and deploy Rifeline’s shared support services in creative design, drone photography/video, and language translations. The successful candidate will thrive in a “player/coach” role, prioritizing and managing assignments, as well as providing some creative and design services directly. Responsibilities include:

Prioritize and manage incoming requests from the Rifeline team for creative design, drone photography/video, and translation servicesProvide oversight and project management for materials outsourced to subconsultants (e.g., graphic designers, web developers, videographers, digital production specialists, etc.)Manage Rifeline’s drone program:Coordinate drone photo requestsManage equipment maintenance and availability, staffing assignments, training and certificationHelp market Rifeline’s drone capabilitiesSupervise 1-3 staff:Regularly check in with direct reportsBe available for questions and support, and report up to supervisor/company leadership (as needed)Manage workflow, team schedules and delegate tasksCelebrate successesSet performance and training goals that comply with the company’s plans and visionAssess work performance and identify areas that need improvementTrain and onboard new hiresCreate print and digital graphics and marketing materials such as icons and graphics, flyers, fact sheets, maps, display boards, presentations, advertisements, social media posts and reels, videos, websites, brand guides, etc.Create and edit webpage content using various platforms such as SquareSpace, ArcGIS/ESRI and Socrata.Develop and maintain a library of photos that can be use by Rifeline for marketing and client needsEnter, submit and approve time, expenses & invoices in a timely and accurate manner in CORE project management system

ROLE QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 5 years of agency experience as a graphic designer, designer, or art director and/or a relevant bachelor’s degreeOne to two years of project management experience, preferably in a creative services or agency settingProven excellence in people management, internal stakeholder management, client relationship, and overall interpersonal relationship skillsStrong organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.Experience in graphic design and video editingExperience with Adobe Creative applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro and Lightroom)Experience with CanvaProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Slack

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must haves:Current drone certification (or willing to obtain certification within 90 days of hire)Professional maturity and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentReside in (or have firm plans to relocate to) the greater Austin areaAccess to a vehicle or reliable transportation for drone filming on locationFlexibility to work after normal work hours and on weekends (occasionally required)

Great to haves:Proficiency in SpanishExperience using Asana or other project management toolExperience with CRM and/or other database managementExperience with survey tools and bulk email platforms such as Survey Monkey, Mailchimp, Microsoft Forms and Google Forms

The typical salary range is $65,000-$80,000 annually but compensation will be commensuratewith experience.
