Fall 2024 (Approximately 15 weeks, August through December)●

Location:

Remote for editing purposes, with potential on-site work for client shoots and tradeshows / events (travel opportunities, if offered, are optional)

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Video Production Intern for a B2B company focused on the heavy equipment, construction and logistics industries. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production while contributing to the digital presence of a leading company in the industry.

Job Description

This person reports directly to the Senior Video Producer and will work closely with the various internal teams. The primary responsibilities include:



Video Production:○

Assist with the production of promotional and editorial videos.○

Operate cameras and monitor audio during shoots.○

Video editing for both long and short-form pieces, including promotional content for social media, client promos, and the company website.○

Create monthly video content for social media platforms (Reels, YouTube shorts, etc.).○

Manage and organize digital files (raw video and audio files, graphics, photos, etc.) and physical equipment (lights, stands, cameras, lenses, etc.).●

Social Media Support:○

Assist with the creation and scheduling of video content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.○

Support social media coverage of industry events and company news.●

Additional Responsibilities:○

Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative video concepts.○

Communicate the company's value proposition through compelling video storytelling.○

Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements



Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student.●

Familiarity with video production equipment (Canon and Sony cameras, various lenses, tripods and camera support gear) and software (Adobe Creative Cloud programs, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro).●

Ability to work independently on projects as well as part of a team.●

Strong knowledge and intermediate experience with film and video equipment.●

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.●

Highly organized and self-motivated.

Educational Value

The intern will gain valuable experience in video production within a professional B2B context. This role offers the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of video storytelling, content creation, and digital marketing strategy. Interns will work alongside industry experts, enhancing their skills and preparing them for future career opportunities. Intern will be provided with a full syllabus tailored to their career/educational goals and employer will submit necessary paperwork for student to earn credit from their educational institution.
