Experienced Information Developer/Technical Writer with more than 4 years of experienceAt least 2 years of writing/editing, technical illustration experience or automotive/truck support experienceHands-on experience with developing customer service documentationAdhere to the Navistar style guidelines, and standards of accuracyWriting documents, validation of content, and editing work for publicationIndependently gather information from technical and non-technical Subject Matter Experts to organize, develop, and write technical service contentRoutinely interpret various source information which may include procedural mark-ups, engineering drawings, parts lists, draft assembly, and maintenance instructionsAdapt to production and environmental changes, and editorial processesAbility to multitask, prioritize tasks, and interface with many personalitiesDevelop draft illustration to support procedural/descriptive text using model file or existing artworkFamiliarity with the automotive or trucking industryKnowledge of Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical terms used in Automotive or trucking industryExperience with service tools and its specifications used for vehicle servicingGood understanding of Agile environment & alignment to Agile writing principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTo work with cross-functional TeamsKnowledge of XML and DITA XML authoring using PTC Arbortext EditorWork to improve the content and appearance of customer documentation continuouslyAchieve expert product knowledge to produce quality materials and high-level technical solutions being developedExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in providing automation solution for Arbortext as per customer’s requirementDevelopment of appropriate documentation to support technical publication manualsThe candidate must have bachelor’s degree in engineeringAbility to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management
