Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Sales & Design Consultant at Grossman Furniture. As a Sales & Design Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting and purchasing furniture, and utilizing your design expertise to help customers create the perfect space. In addition, you will collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the store.
The ideal candidate has a warm and friendly personality and is creative, enthusiastic, a self-starter and enjoys working with people. We will gladly train the right candidate and invest in their development IF they have at least 3 years of upscale, face to face, sales experience.
Great hours: We are closed on Sunday, open only one evening a week and are closed on major holidays.
Responsibilities:You will be responsible for generating sales by determining our customers’ needs and assisting them in the selection process be it for one item or a complete room.Learn the Grossman Furniture product lines and understand the special order and custom capabilities that exist, in addition to the product displayed in store, to ensure that every customer is presented with all the right options for their unique space and style.Preparing complete, accurate and timely customer orders.
QualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven experience in retail sales and customer serviceStrong sales skills and the ability to meet sales targetsKnowledge and passion for furniture and interior designAttention to detail and the ability to create visually appealing spacesAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentTeam player with a positive attitudePrior experience in the furniture industry is a plus
