About the RoleOur ideal candidate has experience in high end residential design, including construction and renovation, an in-depth knowledge of hand and digital drafting, space planning, product development, showroom, and vendor relations. This position is an integral part of the design team who will coordinate the administration, production and execution of projects. Every day will be a different day and experience ranging from searching for fabrics, overseeing an install to helping within the studio. Applicants must reside in or near our San Francisco studio and be able to reliably commute Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities Include:Participate in all phases of multiple design projects from design development through construction management and out-of-state on-site installationsProduce and manage the production of schematic, floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, interior architectural details, lighting plans, and custom furniture drawingsPrepare Plumbing, Appliance, Finish, and Furnishing schedulesAttend out-of-state site meetings remotely and in person as needed [Required]Research & source furniture, fabrics, accessories, finishes, lighting, plumbing, hardware etc.Produce presentation boards, mood boards, etc. (digital and physical) consisting of necessary FF&E for Designer Director and/or Principal approval and client presentationsCoordinate the production of high-end furnishings, fabrics and materials, including requests for quotes, CFAs/Strike offs, purchase order preparation and expeditingOrganize and facilitate project Installations;

out of state travel requiredEffectively handle and resolve all production-related problems with vendorsLeverage oneself beyond project-based focus to address greater office issues, including process improvement and quality assurance

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, interior design or related field6+ years experience working in a professional interior design practice, concentration in high-end residential requiredProficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, SketchUp, and Design Manager.Proficient in Revit with 1-2 years’ experience in a professional setting.Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-management skillsSkilled in conceptual thinking, experiential design, and storytelling in spaceKnowledge of FF&E, color & materials, design showrooms and dealers both locally and internationallyKnowledge and experience with Art, Antiques and Architectural/Historical PeriodsHand-drafting
