II - Walmart , you will be responsible for supporting, and at times driving, the development and implementation of customer, category and product strategies. The Marketing Manager will also provide support in achieving budgeted EBITDA goals and directly interacts with key Walmart stakeholders. Large emphasis on managing Private Brand business.This role will be based at our office in Schaumburg, Illinois reporting to our Senior Global Marketing Manager.In This Role, You Will Focus On…PRODUCT MANAGEMENTLeverage market data to bring new product ideas to internal Product Development teamAct as the Voice of the Customer and the Consumer in New Product Development ProcessLead specific New Product Development projects from ideation through executionEstablish target financial goals for New Product DevelopmentDeliver new products on time, on spec and on costBring omnichannel launch mindset to cross-functional teamsComprehensive product lifecycle managementDIGITAL MARKETINGManage overall Walmart.com strategyOversee content development and ongoing managementOversee Walmart Connect marketing budgetCUSTOMER STRATEGY & PRESENTATIONSCollaborate with sales, product development, operations and other key cross-functional team members to plan and present data driven recommendationsLead internal preparations for bi-weekly customer meetingsManage customer line review process from concept through executionPartner with cross-functional team to plan and execute key customer proposalsStrategically build new product line plansDetermine key insights needed to deliver data driven recommendationsPartner with Market Data Syndicators to identify market share growth opportunitiesOutline line review deck and coordinate key stakeholder inputs and approvalsDrive item pricing strategy with consideration for market benchmarks and customer price laddersCUSTOMER EXECUTIONCollaborate with National Account Manager on ad hoc customer requestsContribute to weekly call agendas and attend weekly customer facing project calls ensuring all priority topics are covered and notes and insights are captured correctlyManage many unique projects by coordinating or leading a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to execute on time, on quality, and on budgetExecute highly detail oriented specific administrative tasks focused on product set up through internal and external processes and systemsDeliver on time results for projects involving packaging and communications through the execution and management of all details from start to finishMARKET AND CUSTOMER DATA ANALYSISRun and analyze point of sale data from Circana to understand category and product trends which inform new product development and customer presentations.Partner with Circana Account Manager to glean key market insights and translate into actionable recommendations.Leverage Walmart Luminate to track Modular performance and to better understand shopper behaviorCreate tools to track Modular performance and drive item level assortment recommendationsStrategically analyze data across multiple sources to formulate strong, data-driven customer proposalsTranslate customer and consumer data into new, innovative product development opportunitiesData driven new product innovation – assortment and category gaps identify market share growth opportunitiesWhat You Bring To The TeamBachelor's degree in Marketing or related degree and/or a combination of education and/or equivalent work experience.
