Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales team and drive marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, account management, customer service, outside sales, technology sales, leadership, negotiation, and sales management. As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and overseeing marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed company revenue goalsLead the sales team in acquiring new clients and expanding business opportunitiesManage key customer accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retentionDrive product launches and promotional activities to boost sales performanceUtilize technology sales expertise to leverage digital tools for marketing campaignsProvide leadership and guidance to the sales and marketing teams to foster a high-performance cultureNegotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners to secure favorable termsMonitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, and customer serviceStrong background in outside sales, technology sales, leadership, negotiation, and sales managementExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsStrategic thinker with a track record of driving successful sales initiativesBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plusProficiency in CRM software, digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms
