The Visual Designer is responsible for guiding and creating clear and engaging presentations and project assets for the Chief Business Officer Leadership team. You will empower executive and independent contributor team members to align and scale their work, connecting it to the client’s one-company roadmap and mission. This is a role for a seasoned individual contributor, who will provide high-level strategy and leadership while also producing high-quality materials related to the Chief Business Office goals. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Business Programs & Operations.Partner closely with Chief Business Office (CBO) Leadership from concept to delivery to prepare materials and build simple, beautiful, compelling stories to meet the company and teams’ goals and objectives.Create simple, crisp visual narratives to engage a variety of audiences.Partner with cross-functional teams to bring together relevant insights, including business trends, financial data, consumer analysis, and operational plans into an integrated view of the presentation focus area.Implement a streamlined intake & prioritization process to move quickly to organize and assemble creative work such as pitch decks and printed prototypes.Liaise between relevant client stakeholders to communicate and coordinate the delivery of projects and all associated materials ensuring all supplies and materials are available to the team for presentation needs.Execute the production of designs and assets for a variety of presentations, working with printers, production companies, and internal teams to support the teams’ needs.Stay abreast of both external and internal presentation trends and brand standards to ensure the highest quality and innovative approaches.Provide ongoing presentation guidance to the Chief Business Officer team. Identify opportunities to scale work and/or train team members on presentation and storytelling best practices.Ad hoc projects as requested.What You Know
Must have at least 10+ years of relevant professional experience.Expert knowledge in presentation programs such as Google Keynote, Slides, Figma, etc., to create presentations readable in multiple formats (e.g., computer, mobile, etc.).Experience with making complex information, tools, and services easily digestible for your audience including Board Members & Executives.Experience writing content principles, messaging frameworks, and style guides for a wide variety of projects or product areas.Seasoned internal and external communicator with strong interpersonal skills.Pays attention to both details and macro-level outcomes.Upholds brand guidelines and possesses a strong knowledge of design standards.Has a good eye for design and aesthetics to create well-thought-out presentations.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing startup environment.Passion for client’s mission, commitment to diversity, and global mindset.Education
