All team members are expected to represent Relevance International as professional brand Ambassadors.The role of the Vice President is essential to effective client and account acquisition and management. The person filling this role is integral to communicating with the CEO any concerns presented by staff or clients.PERKS OF WORKING AT RELEVANCE INTERNATIONAL- Dynamic hybrid work environment (3 days in office, 2 days work from home) and “Work from Anywhere” program two weeks a year.- Generous PTO policy in addition to being closed the last week of the year.- Thirsty Thursday wine hour, Bagel Birthdays and regular company events and outings to celebrate the team and holidays!- Excellent career development with external and internal training programs for all employees.- Reviews twice a year and regular coaching and mentoring sessions for all staff.- Annual worldwide Visioning and strategy sessions at New York HQ.- Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401k with generous company matching.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for maintaining a profitable team- Leads and develops a profitable and thriving teamCoach, supervise and mentor all staff from AC to ManagerTrusted client advisor in relationship with decision makers- Effectively manages client relationshipsDirect account teams’ strategyDirects specific tasks and measurable objectives to execute PR strategy- Create, supervise, and report on client deliverables- Creates error free client deliverables and press materials- Prioritizes and assigns client deliverables, meets all deadlinesResponsible for media relationships and networking at the highest level- Drives press results for clients, regularly securing top-tier press placements- Helps drive trend story ideas/pitches for the firm- Enhance media relationships across the company- Ability to handle crisis management- Run internal and external meetingsSource new business leads- Runs new business meetings and drafts winning proposals- Proactively sources and builds relationships with journalists and industry influencers for networking- Contributes to Relevance International’s brand and social media with suggestions and ideas- Notifies CEO and CFO/HR of HR issues*DISCLAIMER: Duties, responsibilities and activities of the position may change or new ones added at any time with or without noticeRequirements:
SKILLS/CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED- Has strong knowledge of and commitment to increase knowledge of real estate, hospitality, luxury, and travel industries, dependent upon client focus- Positive, can-do attitudeSolution-orientedExcellent writing and editing, with strong knowledge of AP Style - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal- Excellent Customer Service skills- Self-directed, proactive, and independently capable of managing workload so deadlines are metFlexible, able to work under pressure and changing prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Programs and Outlook (electronic scheduling)- Commits to 5 days per week and hours sufficient to cover responsibilities to clients and team.Workday begins at 9 am Monday through Friday.EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED- Bachelor's Degree – Communications, PR or related field- 8+ years of experience in PR- Supervisory experience of a team of at least 4 employees
