Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.Date: Aug 29, 2024Location: USASummary The Director, CA Communications & Engagement is accountable for delivering an audience-focused communications and engagement plan that fosters collaboration and performance, positioning Corporate Affairs (CA) as a predictive, state-of-the-art function and a great place to work. This role supports the CA Skill Building program and other strategic initiatives across CA, including the delivery of large-scale CA events and facilitating smaller briefings.About the Role

Major accountabilities:CA Communications & Engagement Strategy: Own and collaboratively develop the CA Communications & Engagement plan, ensuring it is audience-focused and aligned with Corporate Affairs objectives. Execute the plan, driving a culture of collaboration, performance, and innovation. Leverage data and analytics to inform communication strategy and measure impact.Communications & Change Management: Design and implement communications and change management plans to support CA as a function. Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively communicate initiatives and manage change.External Positioning: Define an external positioning plan for Novartis CA, highlighting its unique value proposition to external audiences.Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a social media strategy for CA Communications & Engagement, ensuring strategic and impactful presence in the digital space.Internal Communications Calendar: Own and maintain an internal calendar of CA communications and events, ensuring alignment with key initiatives and milestones.Function-Wide Engagement Events: Plan and manage CA function-wide engagement events to enhance employee engagement.CA Briefings: Facilitate CA briefings on various topics to align key messages and drive understanding.Executive Communications: Write engaging communications on behalf of the Global Head Corporate Affairs and the Corporate Affairs Leadership Team (CALT).CA Skill-Building Program: Support the Director, CA Excellence & Innovation in delivering skill-building programs.Project Management Support: Provide project management support for strategic programs within CA.Impact Measurement: Develop and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for CA Communications and Skill Building initiatives.Stay Updated on Communication Trends: Keep abreast of communication trends and technologies to ensure innovation in CA Communications & Engagement.Role requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a similar field.Proven experience in developing and executing communication and engagement strategies.Strong understanding of change management principles.Excellent writing and storytelling skills.Experience in managing large-scale events and facilitating briefings.Strong project management skills.Knowledge of measurement methodologies for communication effectiveness.Why Novartis:
