The

HSE Technical Writer

will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures, manuals, and training resources. This role focuses on ensuring all documentation is clear, concise, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:Collaborate in the creation and rollout of health, safety, and environmental policies and guidelines.Draft, edit, and update HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, manuals, and training resources.Support the HSE Manager and team members in researching and implementing solutions for regulatory compliance.Participate in the development of project plans aimed at enhancing HSE standards and practices.Ensure all documentation is accurate, current, and meets regulatory requirements.Assist in delivering training and communicating HSE policies to employees.Work closely with the HSE Supervisor and other team members to improve overall HSE performance.Conduct risk assessments for new and existing tasks and equipment.Propose and manage improvements in processes and ensure timely completion of actions.Investigate incidents related to HSE, identify underlying causes, recommend corrective measures, and maintain comprehensive records.Train and support supervisors, managers, and team leads in fulfilling their HSE responsibilities.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing HSE policies, procedures, and training materials.Familiarity with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Education:Bachelor’s degree in EHS or a related discipline.
