Scope of Project:

The Content Writer / Strategist will help develop timely and relevant content — across multiple channels and platforms — targeting individuals responsible for managing risk and purchasing insurance for businesses of all types and sizes. The strategist will also help to improve the content development process, explore ways to increase efficiency, and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities:Perform writing, copywriting, editing, and proofing of client-ready thought leadership and sales materials across multiple platformsDevelop, coordinate, and execute content strategies by providing content messaging, coordinating with team members, managing content-related department deadlines, and communicating with key stakeholdersOffer perspectives on potential innovations and new forms of content that can create efficiencyEnsure adherence to Lockton style and brand standardsContribute to special projects on occasionMeet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others

Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in communication, marketing or journalismExperience in insurance or similar professional services fields, such law, accounting, technology, or consulting industriesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex thoughts and material into compelling, easy-to-understand, jargon-free contentAbility to work in a cross-functional teamAbility to excel in a detail-oriented, deadline-driven environmentAbility to prioritize tasks while maintaining constant level of high qualityExcellent project management, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to be self-motivatedAbility to attend company, department, and team meetings as requiredAbility to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company informationAbility to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlinesAbility to use office equipment and Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applications
