Role description

The opportunity

Unity is the world's most popular game development platform, used by millions of developers to reach billions of players around the world across multiple mobile, PC, consoles, and XR.

You will help drive global marketing and sales efforts by developing a pipeline of ebooks, case studies, best practice guides, blogs, and webinars with a strong emphasis on how Unity helps video game developers to build and scale successful games. You are a customer marketer, owning the pipeline of reference customers, those relationships, and the content that stems form them. You will report into Content Marketing and partner closely with Product Marketing, Customer Success, Creative, Communications, and Growth Marketing to develop content strategy, define the content roadmap, and create and execute content marketing plans in pursuit of specific business objectives around awareness, product adoption, and revenue.

What you'll be doing

Work closely with the Product Marketing, Product, Growth Marketing, and Communications teams, among others, to develop and execute the content strategy for integrated growth marketing campaigns

Craft a rich, continuous pipeline of compelling content to support go-to-market strategy, generate leads, and drive conversion. Your content will be used in multiple touchpoints across the user journey, and can include case studies, industry reports, ebooks, ads, webinars, videos, blog posts, emails, etc.

Lead and manage content creation for integrated marketing programs; write your own content on an everyday basis, develop and publish web/blog content via a CMS, monitor its performance, and optimize based on data

Own the pipeline of customer references and those relationships. Create customer story content that supports growth marketing campaign goals and product messaging

Translate complex technical topics into simple, high-impact concepts for mostly professional game development user persond

What we're looking for

Excellent written and spoken communication/presentation skills

Experience marketing complex, technical B2B products or services with demonstrated ability to create content that performs

Proven ability to write long-form content on time that fits with brand style and tone and aligns with overall marketing narrative and storytelling

Capacity to build thoughtful, strategic, and actionable plans to completion, even in the presence of ambiguity; self-motivated and results-driven with excellent time management and prioritization skills

An open, learning mindset driven by curiosity, empathy, and a drive for self-development

You might also have

Ability to rapidly grasp complex technical details across a wide spectrum of game-related technology domains

Background in or experience writing for software developers or other technical personae

Background or experience in gaming studio or graphics
