HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

As a Marketing Analytics Intern at Carter’s, you will get hands-on experience and contribute to real-world business projects alongside an experienced team of Analysts and Data Scientists. The Marketing Analytics team supports decisions and strategy related to wholistic performance marketing, omni customer interactions, target marketing, and personalization.

As a member of the Marketing Analytics team, you will build Analytical Products that provide key insights into transactions and the activity of millions of consumers and inform and influence marketing strategy. These insights empower the Marketing organization to place the Consumer (and their Data) at the heart of our Marketing strategy and decision making.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re enthusiastic about using data to uncover insights and looking for an opportunity to deploy your coding and mathematical skills in a supportive and impact-focused environment.

This role typically reports into the Sr Manager, Customer Analytics and is based in our Phipps office in our on-site work environment.

(60%) Marketing Analytics and Performance Measurement

Develop and deliver daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting to provide marketing leadership clear visibility to marketing program performance.

Synthesis data to provide trend metrics to identify opportunities for the business

Provide forward looking analytics and reporting to provide visibility for business planning and marketing plan development

Addressing Ad Hoc analytics requests across marketing, omni channel and customer behavior subject areas

(30%) Test Design, measurement and business performance optimization

Work with marketing and ecommerce teams to develop learning agendas and support testing plans to provide sound test results to help evolve the business performance

Support personalization efforts by designing and testing various activities that drive desired customer actions, and continuously optimize performance based on test results

(10%) Process improvement

Maintain efficient database and reporting dataflows through sound data engineering approaches

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

Must have:

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 GPA or higher strongly preferred)

General familiarity with SQL and database systems

Flexible communication style to collaborate with multiple stakeholders from varying backgrounds.

Preferred skills and experience:

Pursuing a bachelor's degree related to Marketing, STEM, (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) or a related field

Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)

Familiarity and interest in working with Python

Adaptive in work style to support analytics shared service and center of excellence in supporting Marketing and Retail teams
