We aim to reveal the magic, meaning, and context that gives rise to a multidimensional, shared understanding of our city.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site Director of Marketing and Brand Experience role located in Atlanta, GA. The Director of Marketing and Brand Experience will lead the planning and implementation of Atlanta History Center's marketing initiatives. The position will work alongside the team to develop the History Center's annual marketing strategy; generate and execute promotional plans for priority offerings; and track relevant metrics across the departments.RequirementsDevelop and implement promotional plans for 25+ priority offerings across the institution annually.Oversee the development of written and visual content in support of strategic Marketing plans.Manage ongoing campaign schedules to ensure marketing content is accurate and assets are delivered on time.Monitor ongoing campaign metrics ensuring that performance remains on track.Produce campaign reports based on available analytics: MailChimp, GA4, and Google Data Studio, etc.Support Vice President with the development and management of the M&BE annual budget, including planning, forecasting, and reporting; ensuring responsible spending and administrative excellence.Support Project Coordinator in overseeing 30–50 design requests each month across 10+ departments; ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Establish and maintain strong and supportive relationships with cross-functional teams (Digital Storytelling, Education, Development, Author Talks, Gardens, etc.) to ensure achievement of objectives across the institution; lead bi-monthly department meetings to review ongoing projects and upcoming deadlines.Manage marketing team to ensure alignment, collaboration, and individual team members' career growth:

Content Marketing Manager (Social Media, E-marketing, Blog, Tourism)Project Coordinator (Administration, Creative request management, Production management)Part-time Project Manager (Daily budget management, Vendor invoices, Campaign scheduling, Data management, Special projects)Designer & Brand Strategist (Print design, Digital design, Campaign design, Website management)

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.7+ years of experience in the marketing industry.Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MailChimp, and WordPress.Background Check RequirementsA satisfactory criminal background check required.Excellent Benefits, including Medical, Dental, and Vision, Employer-provided Life Insurance (1x salary), Employer-provided Long Term Disability, Voluntary Life Insurance, and 403(b) Retirement Plan.
