Le Jardin is looking for a Communication Specialist for the 2024/2025 School Year. Work hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, including some Saturdays, holidays, and evenings. Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000.Essential Duties:Support the director with design, production, and placement of artwork (marketing materials) to ensure accuracy to specifications and timely submission to appropriate media sources. Maintain artwork status spreadsheet based on scheduled media and events. Coordinate artwork approval process.Generate, update, and manage content for the School’s website to ensure a functional, dynamic, and up-to-date website. Create banners, new pages, and calendars as directed. Report web-related issues promptly.Generate social media content for the school’s platforms in alignment with the school’s strategic priorities and key messages. Use analytics to generate monthly reports.Coordinate and collaborate with teams to photograph, video, and capture the many stories of the good work happening across campus.Coordinate ordering, shipping, and billing for printed marketing materials within budget and schedules.Draft copy and select images for collateral, social media, newsletters, and website copy that highlight the scope and impact of LJA’s work.Write and digitally distribute clear internal and external communications as directed.Ensure all work is consistent with the school’s style guide.Support the director in compiling analytics to assess the efficacy of communications.Support Advancement and Admissions special projects and school events as requested.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required in related field.Experience with Google Tools.Experience with managing social media accounts.Demonstrated experience with web and digital communications platforms.Experience with multimedia storytelling, messaging, content creation, and production.Experience with graphic design and video editing programs preferred.Interest in and understanding of education broadly and independent schools specifically.Skills:Demonstrated planning, project management, and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.Sound judgment and commitment to confidentiality.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Physical Requirements:
