Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.The Senior Communications Specialist (Per Diem) develops and implements strategic communications plans and activities to promote and support Cedars-Sinai's employee- and patient-facing initiatives. Plays a key role in identifying strategic, innovative news, feature, and communications ideas for various communications channels; writes and develops stories, collateral materials, and other content; edits written materials and projects including a variety of news, feature, and science writing for external and internal audiences; and assists in the production of internal and external publications and updates.Collaborates and works cross-functionally with internal partners in Marketing and Communications as well as with external partners throughout Cedars-Sinai. Works collaboratively with other members of the team to manage priorities, workflows, and shared responsibilities to deliver a wide range of assets.
Qualifications
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related major required.A minimum of 5 years of experience writing, editing, developing, and delivering in-depth content or related communications experience required.5 years or more academic medical center, health care, non-profit, and/or foundation experience preferred.
