Associate, Graphic Artist

to join the Marketing department in

Bethesda, MD.

This position will be focused on graphic production support for our marketing channels, both print and digital. The Graphic Production Artist will work cross-functionally with the Design, Promotions, and Marketing teams in a deadline-driven environment to execute the creation, formatting, versioning, editing and final release of marketing assets in support of Total Wine & More’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate for this role would possess intermediary proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. You will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations.You will:Provide production support across all marketing channels (including print, in-store signage, web, email, social, etc.) – using software to create, edit, format, version and release filesBuild/create assets to supplied specifications, ensuring consistency to project or brand guidelinesCollaborate with design and production team partners to ensure that design concepts are executed as planned and market specific variations are accounted for in the final outputEnsure timely delivery of assets to stakeholders/end users according to production timelines and processesWork with printers/end user to troubleshoot issuesMaintain a system of organization of design elements for ease of use in future projectsYou will come with:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, marketing/advertising or related fields and/or design certifications3+ years of experience in print or digital marketing production role – agency and/or retail experience preferredIntermediate proficiency in all Mac-based, industry-standard software programs including, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Cloud – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and AcrobatExcellent time management skills, a proactive self-starter, working across multiple projects with tight deadlines, in a fast-paced deadline-driven environmentStrong attention to detailInterpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships in a team environmentPre-press and file prep experience - mandatoryAbility to exercise independent judgement and decision-making skills, when needed and problem solve for complexities encountered in the rapidly expanding organization and everchanging retail landscape.We offer:Paid Time Off (PTO)Generous store discountsHealth care plans (medical, prescription, dental, vision)401(k), HSA, FSA, Pre-tax commuter benefitsDisability & life insurance coveragePaid parental leavePet insuranceCritical illness and accident insuranceDiscounted home and auto insuranceCollege tuition assistanceCareer development & product trainingConsumer classes& More!Grow with us:Total Wine & More is the country's largest independent retailer of fine wine, beer and spirits, and we continue to grow our footprint year over year.
