If so, let's talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM is in search of a Social Engagement Partner (SEP) to oversee and coordinate the planning, implementation, and tracking of integrated social media plans while also ensuring the desired outcomes are achieved.The SEP will serve as a key strategic leader in driving social media initiatives across the Marketing and Communication organization. This role is crucial for managing projects, programs, and stakeholder relationships effectively. While a strong background in social media is beneficial, the primary focus of this role is overseeing complex projects and programs and ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations. The SEP will leverage their expertise in project management and stakeholder coordination to execute impactful social media plans to support IBM's business priorities and objectives throughout the year. This role will support both the IBM Ecosystem and IBM Consulting parts of the business.Key Responsibilities:Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product marketing leaders, Brand Creative and Content teams, Demand & Experience practitioners, and more. Act as the main point of contact for all social media-related inquiries and updates.Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define social media objectives and integrate these into overall business strategies. Develop and present strategic plans that align with campaign priorities and organizational goals.Social Media Integration:

Although secondary to project and program management, utilize social media knowledge to enhance project outcomes. Support the integration of social media strategies with overall business initiatives.Project Management:

Lead and manage the execution of social media-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.Program Management:

Develop and implement comprehensive social media programs that support broader organizational goals. Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute program elements efficiently.Communication:

Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding project and program status, social media strategies, timelines, and expectations. Provide regular updates and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.Reporting and Analysis:

Track and report on project and program performance, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders and leadership.Collaboration:

Work closely with internal social team members, including Community Managers, Creative Strategists, and Paid Social Specialists, to ensure cohesive execution of social media plans and initiatives.Process Improvement:

Continuously assess and refine project management processes and strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of social media plans.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseSeveral years of experience in project and program management, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.Solid understanding of social media platforms and strategies, though the primary focus is on project and stakeholder management.Experience managing global cross-discipline stakeholders across all levels.Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and deliver results.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseWorking knowledge of project management tools such as Slack, Trello, Airtable, and Box.Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools. Knowledge of Khoros is a plus.About Business Unit
