This strategic role will drive growth throughout the customer journey—from top of funnel awareness to conversion optimization to upsells to referrals. You will oversee a team that includes field marketing, events, paid media, performance marketing, SEO, website optimization, and lifecycle marketing. The ideal candidate will spearhead innovative marketing strategies to drive business growth via acquisition, conversion, and expansion for prospects and customers across our product suite. Working cross-functionally with product, design, sales, and marketing, you will develop and implement data-driven growth initiatives.

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive growth marketing strategy that integrates field marketing, paid media, events, performance marketing, website optimization, and lifecycle marketing.

Team Management:

Lead and expand a current team of ~20 high-performing marketers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.

Field Marketing and Events:

Develop and execute field marketing strategies that increase brand visibility and direct engagement with potential clients through local events, workshops, and trade shows.

Paid Media:

Oversee all paid performance media investments including paid search, paid social, programmatic display, and affiliate marketing. Align investments to achieve company growth objectives.

CRO/Funnel:

Own the company website experience for optimizing traffic in our funnel as it pertains to best user experience, lead capture, converting prospects to leads and SEO growth

Lifecycle Marketing:

Develop and implement lifecycle marketing strategies that enhance customer retention and maximize customer lifetime value.

Data-Driven Insights:

Utilize analytics to monitor, adjust, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, translating data into actionable growth strategies.

Budget Management:

Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across all growth marketing channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, product, ops, and customer service teams to align marketing strategies with company goals and customer needs, identifying cross and upselling opportunities to drive growth.

Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing diverse marketing strategies, including digital, field, and lifecycle marketing (B2B / B2B2C preferred, payroll or finance a plus)

Proven track record of scaling business growth through innovative marketing strategies.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive a team towards high performance and excellence.

Excellent analytical skills with an ability to interpret extensive data to make actionable decisions.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong relationships both internally and externally.

Deep understanding of the latest marketing trends and technologies, including digital marketing tools and platforms.

Experienced working in a fast-paced, startup environment

Possess strong leadership and management skills

Proficiency with SQL and Tableau is a plus.

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at$285,000.00 - $325,000.00 per year.

Justworks may offer relocation support to an eligible candidate moving to our NY office for this role. Please note this assistance will cover the costs of relocation, subject to specific limitations and conditions detailed in the applicable relocation agreement.
