Synergy Interactive is partnering with a global media producer to fill a Senior Art Director position. This 6 month contract position is hybrid in Newark NJ and requires experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and a strong Brand Portfolio.

Responsibilities:Develop strategic and conceptual design solutions that enhance customer experiences and align with the brand.Utilize expertise in UX/UI and design systems to address complex business challenges, ensuring designs scale across various platforms including web, app, and email, and globally across markets.Champion creative work that is innovative, culturally relevant, and challenges conventional approaches.Collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams, leading designers to produce compelling visuals and solutions that:Communicate the essence of the brand experience in unique and engaging ways.Incorporate human insights, native behaviors, and data when available.Drive innovation in channels, platforms, and other touchpoints.Generate excitement and engagement across all brand channels and touchpoints.Take ownership of both solo and team-based projects, ensuring timely and professional delivery of work.Present creative concepts and solutions to internal teams and stakeholders.Contribute to a positive and entrepreneurial team culture, maintaining professionalism while collaborating across departments.
Qualifications:5-7 years of Art Direction experience working with national brands at an agency or client level.Experienced in leading creative teams, managing internal partnerships, and collaborating with external agencies.Strong belief that great design enhances life and consistently strive to create meaningful experiences.Expertise in design systems and their application in creating cohesive, scalable solutions.A portfolio that showcases national brand work and a passion for creative innovation.Effective communicator and team player with a commitment to fostering creative collaboration.Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Word, and PowerPoint.A problem-solver with a positive outlook, who thrives on creative challenges and embraces the fun and rewarding nature of the work.
