Director of Sales and Marketing

Director of Sales and Marketing

manages and oversees the sales and marketing operations for ACTIA. Sales and Marketing Management

Manages and supervises business development managersFacilitates development of supervised personnelOversees development and production of promotional and collateral materialsDevelops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategyEnsures effective control of marketing resultsTakes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgetsResolves conflicts and facilitates changes in structure of marketing groupProvides swift response to marketing problems and opportunitiesGuides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management

Collaboration

Serves as liaison with outside agencies and headquarters ongoing promotional campaignsCollaborates with all internal departments

Legal Compliance

Ensure legal compliance with state, federal and OSHA requirementsEnsure ISO procedures are followedMaintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications and EducationBachelor's degree in Engineering; a business degree would be a plusFive years of marketing/sales experienceAutomotive knowledge is preferredA second European language a plusStrong analytical skillsLogical reasoning ability is essentialAbility to travel extensively both domestic and internationallyWorking ConditionsMovementThis position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on the production floor. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
