Fuqua attracts and develops those who thrive on difference, have the ability to bring out strength from others to move toward a common purpose, and who inspire entire organizations to win the right way.Fuqua’s Global Marketing group is a centralized function responsible for understanding the school’s customers and markets; generating program revenue through campaigns; stewarding and building the brand via owned, earned, paid and shared media; promoting program and faculty thought leadership; and leading strategic school initiatives.Job DescriptionFuqua seeks a Director of Brand Marketing (level 16) to lead marketing initiatives in support of school priorities, crafting and activating the school’s brand to drive enrollment, engagement, and reputation. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Global Marketing, this position leads a three-person marketing communications unit to execute integrated campaigns, align brand strategy with business goals, and manage content development and production.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegrated MarketingDevelop and implement data-driven campaigns to drive inquiries, applications, and enrollmentsOversee creation of compelling content, digital experiences, and targeted paid mediaImplement nurture campaigns and conversion rate optimization tacticsPartner on SEO and SEM initiativesEngage brand ambassadors and leverage in marketing effortsAllocate spending across various campaigns, manage against allocated budgetPrepare budget reports for the Associate Dean, identifying and explaining any variancesContent DevelopmentLead conceptualization, design, and production of marketing materialDevelop multi-media and multi-platform content strategyOversee the execution of institutional and brand collateralImplement asset management systems and workflowsBrand ManagementOversee Fuqua brand identity systemEnsure consistent brand identity across all touchpointsDevelop and disseminate comprehensive brand guidelinesManage review and approval processes for branded materialsNegotiate contracts and pricing with external vendors and service providersImplement cost-saving measures without compromising marketing effectivenessTeam Leadership and Strategic ManagementCollaborate with the Associate Dean to align marketing initiatives with school objectives and prioritize spending based on ROI projections and strategic importanceLead and mentor Brand Marketing team (Marketing Communications Manager, Media Copywriter, Production Coordinator)Serve on Global Marketing Leadership TeamManage production function and its financial operationsSteward relationships with functional and program leadershipQualifications and Experience:Required7+ years of marketing, brand management, digital/social or related experienceDemonstrated ability to create compelling marketing contentExperience managing marketing communications projectsStrong strategic thinking and leadership skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsPreferredMBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline10+ years of relevant experienceExperience in higher education or professional services marketingUnderstanding of Slate, Drupal, SEMrush, Google Data Studio, Salesforce Marketing CloudCompetence in digital, print, and video production processesKey Performance Indicators:Annual ROI growth from marketing spendAdherence to brand guidelines across departments (via audit)Diversity and Inclusion:Fuqua is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
