One of our global hard goods manufacturing clients is looking for a Senior Product Marketing / Brand Manager to join their team for an exciting full-time role with great growth potential and work/life balance.

This Senior Product Marketing / Brand Manager will play a key role in the development and implementation of global product innovation and marketing strategy on a key business unit, working closely with other functions to develop, launch, and commercialize new products, and leading consumer insights work to shape the future innovation roadmap for the category.

The Senior Product Marketing / Brand Manager will experience the thrill of taking products from idea all the way through global launches, owning everything from success criteria, claims, and products specs to channel management strategy and retailer sell-in.

The Senior Product Marketing / Brand Manager must have experience in product development for consumer products, a BA/BS degree in marketing or related field, and must have proven experience with consumer program development, line extension development and sales, as well as leadership of cross-functional teams.

Ideal Senior Product Marketing / Brand Manager candidates will have:

BA degree in marketing, business, or related fieldAt least 8-10+ years of product marketing experience in consumer productsExperience in product development for consumer productsProven experience with consumer program development, line extension development and salesExperience leading cross-functional teamsStrong analytical skills with ability to summarize data to understand trends/ insights and develop clear action plansStrong storytelling skills to develop and present business cases to leadershipExcellent executive presence and communication skillsAble to feel comfortable to deal with ambiguityShow passion to motivate others and champion ideas

Job Responsibilities:

Identify and define consumer needs for all development programs with the partnership of marketing research department. Championsthe voice of the consumer across all projects and adapt to different regions’ consumer needs.Develop, implement, execute and manage new product global launches and maintain existing product lines.Lead for category innovation projects. Represent the voice of marketing, sales, and consumer services to R&D, finance, manufacturing and the related GPD teams.In conjunction with category associate director and sales, develop portfolio objectives, channel management, and distribution strategies. Work with key accounts to develop and improve the brand's portfolio in-store productivity, gross profit and assist in maximizing customer satisfaction.Develop a 3yr innovation pipeline for the category in partnership with the category associate director and cross functional team.Analyze, track and measure sales and share data to identify insights to drive business performance including post launch KPIs with clear action plans to improve innovation performance.Monitor competitive strategic and tactical activities. Develop appropriate global strategies and/or new launches.Ability to communicate effectively with top management, project team members, manufacturing suppliers, and all other Associates. Strong executive presence to communicate clear category vision to retailers and executive team.Works closely with other product business unit team members and other support groups to meet timelines and budget objectives.Is available for marketing and sales projects as needed.Understand and be held accountable for all the category’s goals (including profitability). In conjunction with category associate director, develop and execute tactical initiatives and implement strategy to meet or exceed these goals.Lead the Annual Plan and Update development process. Lead media and promotion planning process. Lead Budget process for category.Responsible for the development and coaching of people (2-3 Associate Managers / Brand Managers).May be required to perform other duties as assigned.Hybrid onsite required (Tues-Thurs, 1/2 day Fridays)Flexible hours between 7am-6pm ETFull benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, etc.
