The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing at MeatEater, Inc. provides pivotal leadership in driving awareness, elevation, and purchasing of our company’s family of premiere outdoor brands including MeatEater, First Lite, FHF Gear, Phelps Game Calls, and Dave Smith Decoys. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a strong track record of building strong brand and product-driven storytelling campaigns that fostered successful customer acquisition and built connections with a loyal community. Previous experience in the hunting industry will be prioritized for this role. This role demands an innovative approach in designing and executing programs that fuel awareness and demand for our differentiated, premium products sold throughout multiple distribution channels - with a DTC eCommerce First approach. The SVP of Marketing is instrumental in crafting competitive positioning, distinct branding, and compelling messaging strategies. With a keen eye on underpenetrated markets, this individual will spearhead targeted, high return advertising through all media channels, events, and promotions–while leveraging MeatEater’s unique competitive advantage of its owned & operated media network of TV shows, digital TV channel, podcasts, social media, website, and email newsletters. The role demands meticulous oversight of all promotional campaigns, setting and evaluating performance standards to ensure alignment with business objectives. Central to this role is driving brand growth and potential, leveraging strategic marketing insights and executions. As a key executive team member, the SVP of Marketing plays a vital role in coordinating go-to-market between the company’s product and distribution functions, collaborating closely with other senior leaders to foster initiatives that resonate across our company.
