PeostaPosition Summary:The Sports Information Director and Athletic Marketing Coordinator will serve an integral role in the overall marketing and promotion of the NICC athletics department. This individual will also manage all aspects of the statistical data entry and reporting to the ICCAC and NJCAA for the college. The Sports Information Director & Athletic Marketing Coordinator must maintain office hours within the district at both campuses and assist the Athletic Director with other duties as assigned.Duties and Responsibilities:Work directly with the Director of Athletics and serve as the contact from the marketing department for all athletic programs.Facilitate the creation of a comprehensive marketing, social media, and public relations plan for the college’s athletic department.Act as the gameday event director and producer which entails writing game scripts, directing in-game fan experience elements, ensuring sponsorship fulfillment, and on-site staff supervision.Set expectations and develop strategies to increase athletic programs’ fundraising, engagement, and visibility in the community leading to increased support.Ensure timely statistical reporting to the ICCAC and NJCAA once games conclude.Maintain the integrity of the facility and equipment in cooperation with athletic personnel.Support college activities and special events through attendance and/or participation.Use interpersonal skills and make sound judgments.Qualifications:Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s DegreeEstablished record of successful experience in sports information, sports marketing, or a related field.Proven ability to establish positive and effective working relationships with students, administration, and community.Certifications and Licenses:Must possess a valid driver’s license.Open Date:
