Due to exciting business growth within the region, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading professional services company in London as they seek a Communications Associate to assist the Head of Japan with their professional communications. This role will involve developing and executing communication strategies that enhance the clients' reputation and influence in the Japanese market. The role sits within a friendly and supportive team, providing an exciting and dynamic opportunity. The successful candidate must be

fluent in Japanese and English

and possess a strong background in strategic communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement. Working on corporate strategy projects, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Crisis Communications, and more within the MNC space, we are seeking candidates with high levels of business and commercial acumen.

Duties of the Communications Associate include:

Develop and implement strategic communication plans tailored to clients' needs in Japan.

Craft compelling narratives and messaging for various channels, including press releases, speeches, and presentations.

Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in Japan.

Monitor and analyze media coverage and public sentiment, providing actionable insights to clients.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective communication across all platforms.

Support crisis communication efforts, providing timely and effective responses to emerging issues.

Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in Japan.

Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, demonstrating strategic thinking and deep market understanding.

Requirements for the successful Communications Associate include:

Educated to Undergraduate Degree level in a related field.

Fluent English and Japanese language skills are

essential .

Local UK experience is highly desirable.

At least 5 years’ experience working in strategic corporate communications within highly corporate industries.

Previous experience working within

professional services is essential.
