Job Description: We are looking for an
experienced AutoCAD Designer
to design fire protection systems, perform hydraulic calculations, and produce fabrication drawings. You'll collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure compliance and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Design fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and HydraCADPerform hydraulic calculations and produce fabrication drawingsConduct job site surveys and hydrant flow testsReview architectural files and ensure compliance with NFPA codesCommunicate with installers to refine future designsCoordinate with GCs to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems into overall project designs and timelines.
Requirements:
5+ years of fire sprinkler design experienceHigh attention to detail and spatial awarenessProficiency in AutoCAD/HydraCAD, Word, Excel, and AdobeHigh School Diploma or equivalentDriver’s license, background check, and drug test requiredMust live within 1 hour of Sunnyvale, TX
