Position: Business Marketing Intern
Status: Temporary, Part-Time (Maximum 200 hours)
Role Overview:**
The Business Marketing Intern will develop skills in communication, project management, social media, and graphic design. Responsibilities include writing engaging website copy, generating blog ideas, updating business listings, managing the events calendar, and keeping the news section current. Interns will also create and schedule impactful social media posts, monitor and engage on various platforms, craft and edit videos, and design simple graphics.
Additionally, the intern will collaborate with staff on core events, work with volunteers, represent the organization at informational booths, and manage social media on event days. Creativity is highly encouraged, making this a great opportunity to innovate and contribute fresh ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit website copy and generate blog ideas.
- Update business listings and manage the events calendar.
- Keep the organization's news section current.
- Create and schedule engaging social media posts.
- Monitor and interact on various social media platforms.
- Craft and edit videos, and design simple graphics.
- Collaborate with staff on core events and work with volunteers.
Qualifications
- Must be a Fresno City student.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
