A qualified candidate will have extensive sales experience working with interested parties for a variety of events including wedding receptions, tailgates, private corporate and charitable events, as well as large-scale events with up to 400+ attendees. This individual will be responsible for showing and selling the space we have to offer, primarily the Barrel Haus - voted Wisconsin's #1 Wedding Venue by Wisconsin Bride Magazine.*Please note that applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Marketing acumen including print media and social channel content creation. Exceptional sales skills and ability to work with potential clients. Positive attitude and leadership capabilities. An understanding of private events. Refined communication skills and the ability to reach out to groups or individuals. General on-site availability Wednesday through Friday (potential sporadic weekends).*Off days and remote work are available. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and work assignments. High expectations for quality. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, will substitute for experience. Basic graphic design/content creation is a plus.Additional traits to consider:Working with Marketing Team to creatively promote the space online.Assisting with walk-throughs, setup of signing contracts, and assisting Private Event CoordinatorDesigning promotional posters and hand-outs for Barrel Haus events both large and smallCollaborate with Marketing team on social media content and leading for publication timelinesPassion for Badger State Brewing, Green Bay WI, and the craft beer business; demonstrated capacity to cultivate strong relationships inside and outside of the organization.Bartending knowledge or experience is a plus. Bar shifts may be available if interested.Requirements:A minimum of 3 years of event sales experience: including the organization, planning, and successful execution of events (beer business/hospitality background preferred).Customer service background Strong willingness to learn on the job and perform in stressful situationsDetail-oriented and strong communication skillsAbility to multitask and handle coordinating multiple large events at one timeExperience working with vendors, including but not limited to liquor, décor rental, and caterersCompensation: Based on experience. Compensation includes a base salary plus bonus compensation based on goal achievement once training period has been completed. Other incentives can include phone allowance, mileage allowance, and 401k matching plan. Flexible work hours and vacation time are all available and increase with tenure.
