Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Design and Photography Intern with a passion for visual storytelling to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both graphic design and photography within a professional sports environment, contributing to our creative projects and helping bring our brand to life.
Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the Creative team to support their initiatives, bringing your unique perspective and creativity to the tableTransform strategic concepts into visually compelling, original designs that resonate with our target audienceUtilize your design skills to enhance existing creative materials and ensure they align with our brand identityPrepare and optimize design files for various media, ensuring high-quality outputActively participate in team brainstorming sessions and design reviews, contributing fresh ideas and insightsCreate visual content for social media, website, and print materialsCapture high-quality photographs during games, events, and team activitiesEdit and process photographs for various uses, including social media, marketing materials, and team archivesAssist in maintaining and organizing the team's digital asset library, including both graphic designs and photographsCollaborate with marketing and social media teams to develop creative concepts for both design and photography projectsQualifications
Currently an upcoming College Junior or Senior preparing to graduate or possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Photography, or a related fieldExceptional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignProficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote is a plusExperience with digital photography and photo editing softwareExperience with other Adobe Creative Suite programs, website design, and digital advertising is highly advantageousFamiliarity with the sports industry and marketing a team or brand is preferredStrong portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and photography skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong time management and multitasking skillsCreative, resourceful, and problem-solving mindsetExcellent communication and organizational skillsEnthusiastic, creative, and curious personality, eager to explore new design trends and photographic techniquesPassion for basketball and sports is a plusAvailable to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends for game days and eventsEligibility Requirements
To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 monthsAble to commute to the downtown Sacramento officeAble to work 25 hours per week
