General Position Summary

The Marketing Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in the financial planning and execution of marketing projects and campaigns. This position is responsible for scoping, planning, and executing projects with a keen focus on financial efficiency, ensuring all initiatives are completed on time and within budget. The Coordinator serves as the critical link between the Marketing and Finance departments, overseeing budget tracking, spend control, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility across all marketing activities.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and Track Financials: Oversee weekly financial and budget tracking across key areas, including Visual Merchandising, Digital Paid, Production, Content, and Talent, ensuring all expenditures align with financial goals.Expense Management: Track and manage purchase orders, invoices, and monthly expenses within the Marketing department, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing.Financial Reporting and Analysis: Handle ad-hoc financial requests from the Global VP of Marketing, including detailed analysis and reporting on budget spend and financial performance.Cooperative Marketing Program Management: Oversee the Cooperative Marketing (Co-Op Marketing) program, tracking costs and brand asset sharing, and providing detailed reports on program outcomes.Campaign Financial Oversight: Assist in the financial planning and execution of multichannel marketing campaigns, ensuring all campaigns are delivered within budget and financial parameters.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Regularly collaborate and communicate with internal teams to keep stakeholders informed of financial status, marketing efforts, and any support or adjustments needed to meet budgetary constraints.Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Campaign and Project Coordination: Collect and analyze critical information from internal teams to keep the marketing team informed on campaign statuses, product delivery schedules, store lists, new store openings, and other key data, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.Creative Request Management: Oversee and manage creative requests, ensuring that accurate information and deliverables are provided in a timely manner, while maintaining budgetary and financial considerations.Stakeholder Advocacy: Act as a liaison between marketing managers/requesters and the creative team, ensuring projects run smoothly, stay on budget, and achieve successful outcomes.Inventory and Product Tracking: Monitor product status and inventory levels, using this data to determine optimal campaign launch dates, with a focus on financial impact and timing.Campaign Reporting and Analysis: Collaborate with marketing channel managers to develop comprehensive campaign summary presentations that include financial insights and budget performance.Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and recaps, providing insights into budget adherence and financial performance.Project Management Support: Assist with the management of project management software, including overseeing access and ensuring it is used effectively to track project timelines and budgets.Job Required Knowledge & Skills

0-2 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysisExceptionally proficient in reporting, managing, and analyzing dataExcellent proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions)Proficient in MS Office and general ledger packages
