Overview

Job SummaryThe responsibilities of the Marketing and Events manager are wide-ranging and include leading our company brand and portfolio of brands, creating content and messaging strategies, and developing marketing and event campaigns, all within budget. They will help define channels that deliver the best ROI to help support business performance goals. Responsible for measuring campaign and event performance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness while delivering against the business objectives. They will be responsible for overseeing marketing professionals, contract support staff and external marketing partners.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:• Develop high-quality, engaging content and messaging strategies to be used across various formats.• Plan, develop, and implement marketing and event campaigns that help drive request growth, build our brand awareness, support new business development, new offers, and make Air Methods a desirable company to join.• Manage our brand and program brands ensuring consistency and resonance with our target audiences.• Responsible for event strategies and event marketing campaigns with tight deadlines and budget demands for a variety of clients simultaneously.• Responsible for managing employees, agencies, contract support staff and other marketing vendors.• Manage marketing materials, content, presentations, sales tools based on trends, customer preferences, messaging strategies and learnings.• Other Duties as assigned.

Additional Job Requirements• Regular scheduled attendance• Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling - 30%

Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Air Methods' employment practices and policies.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position will supervise team members, other contract/freelance support staff and marketing agencies. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education & Experience• Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Business, Marketing or Communications related field from four-year college or university; or ten (10) or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Ten (10) years of experience in communications, marketing, events and/or brand management• Agency or corporate experience preferred.• Healthcare experience a plus.

Skills• Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management and customers.• Time management and organization skills in order to plan and execute both large and small marketing projects and initiatives.• Data-driven marketer with knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology and budgeting.• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.• Ability to manage advertising agencies and graphic design professionals to develop creative and messaging.

Computer Skills• Experience with CRMs like Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar tools• Experience with digital asset management, event, and content management systems (CMS) preferred-Brandfolder, WordPress, etc. or similar tools• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Suite• Experience with Social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
