Overview
The Designer is responsible to design and deliver compelling and accurate visual solutions across various media, including web/digital assets and print. This includes report layouts, intricate/detailed charts and graphics, magazine layouts, online publications, and content management systems (CMS) content.
Responsibilities
• Create unique, effective designs that meet the needs of the project and client• Use all of the design software to produce charts, tables and layouts• Follow the Lead Designer's instructions to create clear, meaningful, and precise page layouts that adhere to the client's requirements using Adobe Creative Suite on a PC• Must be able to make informed design decisions based on current design trends• Create visual images that solve a problem or communicate a message• Must be able to meet deadlines, and uphold accuracy and creativity while considering corporate branding• Work in a team environment on projects daily, weekly, monthly and see a project through from beginning design to end print/web• Responsible for making all proofs for approval and pre-press• Set jobs up for print• Follow explicit directions and communicate effectively with clients, management and coworkers
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Design preferred• A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a related field
Skills
• Proficient on a PC platform• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 5.5, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat 10 are required• Must be able to work well under pressure• Strong proofing skills are essential• Must have attention to details• Must be able to work in a team environment and have strong communication skills
