The Content Manager plays a crucial role in our health and wellness marketplace by managing the production of new content for Glo’s core subscription. This position involves closely working with teachers to build an ecosystem that provides a diverse range of services to our members. The Content Manager ensures an efficient, timely, and successful content delivery pipeline and manages the Content team’s Associate Producers and Editors. This role works closely alongside Glo’s in-house experts to design high-quality, engaging content that increases member engagement. The ideal candidate has a background in digital content production, has managed a large content portfolio, and has experience addressing different member cohorts.Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage content production and operations to expand Glo’s offering

Manage a small team of Associate Producers and EditorsLead production on deliverables needed for new content initiatives and experimentsSupport content production needs for cross-departmental experiments and initiativesDevelop & maintain best practices for all published content and materialsStreamline content production workflows, utilizing advanced tools and technologies to ensure efficiency and high-quality output.

Oversee teacher relations and performance

Lead new teacher onboarding & offboarding for exiting teachersBuild strong relationships with teachers and help foster community among members and teachersUse analytics tools like Mixpanel or Tableau to track teacher content performance, generate reports, and present findings to key stakeholdersBuild & deliver monthly teacher payment reports to Accounting

Enhance member engagement and retention through content production

Regularly measure and analyze content performance to inform strategy and improvementsIdentify new opportunities to improve member engagement and retention through content development

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in content production, with a proven track record of managing a large content or marketplace portfolio.Proficiency in content management systems, spreadsheets, and data analytics tools.Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to efficiently manage projects at varying stages.Experience managing people in a remote environment.Demonstrated ability to partner cross-departmentally within an organization.Excellent communication (written and verbal), leadership, and organizational skills.Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt processes and workflows based on evolving member demands.Capable of executing the Associate Producer responsibilities (content development and communication) as needed.Experience in health, wellness, fitness, or a related field is a plus.
