Propstore, one of the world’s leading film and TV memorabilia companies, is seeking a full-time US Marketing Associate who will be instrumental in assisting with the planning, creation, and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to support the organization’s objectives. The objectives will include memorabilia and studio auction campaigns, consignment campaigns, customer outreach, and social media. The Marketing Associate will also be involved with limited in-person event planning and staging. We are seeking an individual with 3-4 years of entertainment, studio and/or collectible experience with a background in B2C marketing, social media, and analytics to join our team of professionals.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of US-based Partner Auction campaigns and US-based consignment campaigns.

Monitor and analyze the performance of US-based marketing campaigns.

Track and manage US Marketing budgets.

Social Media Responsibilities

Assist with affiliate queries, including tracking links, new offers, and booking interviews for US-based partners.

Conduct campaign outreach on relevant sites and groups to develop campaign and brand awareness.

Plan, lead, manage, and execute regular behind-the-scenes content for social media, including short-form video and photos from the US office.

Assist the Social Media Lead in creating content and managing a weekly organic social schedule (excluding main campaign content).

Present short-form video content on behalf of Propstore for US-based auctions (preferred but not required).

Provide social media coverage for all US-based events.

Email Responsibilities

Execute email campaigns for US-based Partner Auctions using Mailchimp, ensuring high-quality content and optimal delivery.

Manage and regularly update email lists as needed.

Website Responsibilities

Support the management of website messaging, ensuring content is regularly updated and relevant to current campaigns and upcoming company events.

Press Responsibilities

Lead in-house press visits.

Manage and support press-related setups and displays.

Handle US-based press bookings.

Additional Responsibilities

Assist in organizing marketing campaigns and promotions.

Support the Video team with planning, storyboarding and organizing short and long-form video content (trailers, interviews, livestreams etc).

Support the Graphics team with any printed or digital material creation and planning for US-based campaigns.

Execute digital content across the website, social media, and internal platforms.

Support with convention-related activities, including event planning and event Marketing for Propstore auctions and with Propstore’s partners.

Support the marketing team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering calls and responding to emails.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience managing and organizing spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).

Experience with newsletter/email distribution platforms and blogging platforms, such as MailChimp and WordPress.

Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (specifically Photoshop and InDesign).

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

Strong copywriting skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

CCPA/GDPR training experience (preferred but not required; training will be provided).

Must-Have Qualifications

At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar marketing role.

Marketing degree or relevant experience.

Strong project planning/management and marketing/communications skills.

Marketing communications experience including writing press releases, direct newsletters, social media, etc. High proficiency here is a must.

Experience structuring and implementing digital/social media marketing campaigns.

Experience with MailChimp and social media scheduling tools.

Have a high degree of self-confidence and a positive attitude with a willingness to collaborate as a team player.

Possess understanding of collectibles markets and different audiences, with a preferred focus on Entertainment Collectibles.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Graphic design and creative design skills are strongly encouraged.

Video production experience is a bonus.

Position required onsite at workplace during all weekdays and occasional weekends for offsite events.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

Assist in the planning and execution of all aspects of marketing programs for large and small auction projects.

Maintain calendars and work in advance to meet all internal and external deadlines for approvals, etc.

Provide regular internal updates on project status.

Multitask as necessary to drive multiple projects forward simultaneously.

Collaborate with others; have flexibility when needed.

Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing, fast-growing environment.

Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Performs additional tasks and duties as needed, directed and assigned.

Adhere to Propstore attendance policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
