As the Product Management lead for Generative Video models, you will lead our efforts in this space, owning product strategy and roadmap for both standalone video models and Gemini’s video capabilities. You will collaborate closely with research & engineering, marketing, comms and legal, as well as key partners in Google product areas and the wider entertainment industry, building a deep understanding of the needs and opportunities to build meaningful solutions for the market.The role Product managers at Google DeepMind identify and deliver on opportunities to apply cutting-edge research to products and infrastructure across Google and Alphabet, and that are used by millions of people. In this role, you sit at the intersection between Google DeepMind, Google Product Areas, and the entertainment industry. You will be responsible for driving our research strategy forward, defining what models and technologies are needed to create incredible video, and bringing these ideas to fruition with key product partners.Key responsibilities:Shape the Future : Define the product strategy and roadmap for both standalone video models and video capabilities within Gemini.Collaborate Across Disciplines : Partner with research, engineering, marketing, legal, and external stakeholders to build groundbreaking solutions that meet real-world needs.Drive Impact : lead key technology integrations within Google that can benefit from generative video.Be a Storyteller : Craft and communicate a compelling vision for generative video, both internally and externally, fostering excitement among creators and the public.Build Your Team : Recruit and lead a high-performing product team focused on generative video and potentially expand into related areas.About you In order to set you up for success as a Product Manager at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.In addition, the following would be an advantage:Track record of driving launches through complex stakeholder management.Ability to deliver products that drive customer success and market leadership.Previous experience working on ML/AI products.Previous experience with movie-making.The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $214,000 - $318,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
